ASUS G73J battery Under load, the story is completely different: the SLI system consumes between 240.2 (3DMark 06) to 356.1 W (Bad Company 2) whereas the CrossFire setup requires 223.6 to 305.2 watts. The noise emission is another criteria of our test. Naturally, in this aspect both dual-GPU systems perform poorly, despite the well-designed cooling system (incl. four case fans!!). Even with the extensive cooling and the relatively low idle clock frequency of the GeForce GTX 580M SLI, the Eurcoom Panther 3.0 emitted between 40.2 – 46.1 dB(A) while idle. Most notebooks reach values like these when they are pushed to their limits.ASUS G73JH-A2 battery The 17 inch laptop raises a din under full load: 49.5 – 58.8 dB(A) (almost deafening). The fans kept alternating their speed with the GeForce GTX 580M SLI system. Thankfully, the Radeon HD 6990M CF is quieter, although not by much: 39.2 – 44.3 dB(A) while idle and 47.7 to 54.0 dB(A) under load; still not as bad as the SLI noise emissions. However, the looks are rather more average than premium. They can also be used well and provide an agreeable feedback. We didn't like the plastic USB covers as much. They are very fiddly and difficult to remove. Samsung NC10-KA04 battery In comparison to conventional tablets, the Eee Slate's drawbacks are especially the weight and size. It doesn't have quite as good mobility qualities as the iPad, Samsung Galaxy and co. have with 1.15 kg and 312x207x17mm. Nevertheless, it is naturally very compact and light in comparison to similarly equipped, full-fledged (sub) notebooks.Samsung NC10-KA05 battery Asus hasn't only included the unremarkable, black imitation leather, protective cover for on the go. It protects the Slate against outer influences and additionally bids a prop. The material can't be compared with genuine leather, but it looks good and makes a resistant impression. Asus has obviously tried to keep all control elements accessible even when the device is in the cover.
